  • A: As for the role of providing hardware, the answer is "Yes". But for HPC, we need bandwidth and HPC dormain know-how. I don't think Amazon and Google know as much as HPC know-how as other supercomputing center.
  • Q: Is there any plan for providing interoperation between Amazon EC2 and Rock Xen Roll Cluster?
  • A: There are already prototype for making Rock Xen Roll VM to run on Amazon EC2.
  • Q: With the growth of Virtual Machines, how to deal with the need of IP address? Any plan for applying IPv6?
  • A: Yes, it is time for IPv6.
  • Q: About Campus Cloud, is it PXE booting from remote or from local network? Is it limited to one subnet?
  • A: Yes, from local network.
