Using Mosix to run Osaka code

1.Mosix Installation

$ sudo aptitude install build-essential libncurses5-dev
$ cd mosix-2.24.2.2
$ sudo ./mosix.install

2.Test Process Migration

• Our cluster has two nodes(mosix & mosix01)
• Test auto process migration

  #### mosix ####
  $ mosrun -b testload &
  $ mosrun -b testload &
  $ mosrun -b testload &
  $ mosrun -b testload &
  

  • Check Process status
    • mosix

      $ mosps -h
        PID WHERE               FROM CLASS FRZ TTY      CMD
      18542 here                here local  -  pts/0    mosrun -b testload
      18544 here                here local  -  pts/0    mosrun -b testload
      18546 here                here local  -  pts/0    mosrun -b testload
