OpenNEbula Installation

Our Testbed

OS: Debian testing version Xen: 3.2.1 version

Requirements

• Quick Install Xen

  $ sudo apt-get install gcc make gawk build-essential python-dev libncurses-dev libssl-dev gettext xorg-dev iproute bridge-utils mercurial
  $ make prep-kernels
  $ make dist && make install
  $ depmod 2.6.18.8-xen
  $ mkinitramfs -o /boot/initrd.img-2.6.18.8-xen 2.6.18.8-xen
  $ update-grub
  $ vim /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp
  (xend-relocation-server yes)
  (xend-relocation-port 8002)
  (xend-relocation-hosts-allow 'host*')
  

• Install fllowing Tools for OpenNEbula

  $ sudo aptitude install ruby sqlite3 libsqlite3-0 libsqlite3-dev libsqlite3-ruby libxmlrpc-c3 libxmlrpc-c3-dev scons
